At the end of the Second World War, the German V2 (the fearsome missiles prepared by a select group of scientists) leave Poland to bring death and destruction on London. But one of them is launched badly and falls into a region of Polish territory without exploding. It is found by local resistance fighters who hide it and inform London of their find. Battler Britton, the RAF’s top pilot is ordered to accompany a ballistics expert, Professor Loder, to the area where the missile is hidden so he can study it and discover its secrets.The mission is difficult and daring, but is crowned with success.
