“Hugo Pratt. L’eredit\u00e0, l’opera, la biografia” is the title of the project promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which takes Pratt’s art around the world to represent Italian culture and language. A travelling exhibition therefore, through the Italian Cultural Institutes and Consulates General, which stages adventure, literature and history through the experiences and travels of Hugo Pratt and Corto Maltese.<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

After Valona (Albania ) and Pula (Croatia), with the new year the exhibitions dedicated to Hugo Pratt’s art promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with Cong Sa will start again.<\/p>\n

The third stage will be inaugurated at the Italian Cultural Institute in Oslo on 18th January 2024, and recounting the life of Hugo Pratt and the story of Corto Maltese will be Jon Rognlien, translator of all the volumes in the Corto Maltese series, and the publisher Alexander Leborg. The exhibition can be visited until 22nd March 2024.<\/p>\n

The scenic route designed by Cong is an invitation to travel through the places of first Pratt and then Corto Maltese, from Europe to Africa, from South America to Asia. Encounters, literary references, biographies of creator and character come together to create a unique representation of one of the masters of Italian art .<\/p>\n

Because if the Ministry of Foreign Affairs chose Hugo Pratt to represent the value of the Italian language and culture in the world, Umberto Eco was probably right when he said “”When I want to relax I read an essay by Engels, if I want to engage I read Corto Maltese”. The comic strip finally goes beyond the definition of ‘ninth art’ and becomes a narrative code to tell the world, it stages a complexity of content and language, it becomes drawn literature.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
