HÉCTOR OESTERHELD (1919-1977?) is the father of the Argentinian comic strip. He is best known for The Eternaut, Ernie Pike and Sgt. Kirk. A fierce opponent of the military regime of General Videla, his name is included in the long list of the desaparecidos.
Joe Flint, nicknamed “Ticonderoga,” is a brave young subject of Great Britain’s King George II. He fights alongside his companions–Caleb Lee, a cadet, and the sage Numokh–in the French and Indian War, a conflict in the mid-1700s in which the French and British battled each other for control of the American colonies.
