After visiting Canada, Greece, Norway, Albania and Croatia, the exhibition returns to Lyon, a few months after the success of the first exhibition at the Muséee des Tissus, once again thanks to the commitment of the Italian Cultural Institute of Lyon, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region and Cong SA.
This time, the beautiful venue of the Université Catholique de Lyon, on the banks of the Rhône River and a stone’s throw from the Musée des Confluences, which a few years ago hosted the incredible exhibition ‘Hugo Pratt, Lignes d’Horizons’, is hosting the bilingual exhibition that tells the story of Corto’s travels and stories around the world. Once again, following in Corto Maltese’s footsteps along the routes across the continents will be an opportunity to present Hugo Pratt’s drawn literature, and the principles and inspiration behind it.
“My personal infatuation with Hugo Pratt's characters, drawings and stories, born from our common Venetian origins, was fuelled by reading his books, fuelled by reading about magical and remote places, was recently able to conclude in Lyon thanks to the exhibition project promoted by Cong S.A. and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, which the Italian Cultural Institute of Lyon supported and promoted’.”
